This past weekend, GEAS hosted a trip to Amicalola Falls State Park, about 1.5-hrs outside of Atlanta. The trip consisted of a 10-mile hike up to the beautiful Amicalola Falls, and was accompanied by rather grey and hazy weather that surprisingly lent itself to some stunning pictures of the Falls and surrounding area.
Said pictures will be posted once OIT figures out why our website hates pictures. Stupid website.

After quite a bit of procrastinating, this graduate student website is [finally] up and running! In the near future this website will contain information for EAS grads including useful resources for administrative procedures, updates on GEAS events, contact information for your representatives, as well as pictures from the field to keep you in the loop about what your colleagues are up to when they’re not in the lab.
If you have content that you would like to contribute we encourage you to contact us! You can either email your academic representative or tiegan ‘dot’ hobbs ‘at’ eas.gatech.edu.
